BeFoundation established SpreadMusicNow as a donor advised fund at the Fairfield Community Foundation.
Little Kids Rock
Little Kids Rock partners with school districts with the goal of ensuring that all students have access to an engaging and relevant modern band music education program. The nation’s leading nonprofit provider of free music instruction and instruments to public schools, Little Kids Rock trains teachers and provides the instruments, curricular resources and support they need to deliver a high quality contemporary music program.
Hartford Performs is a vital community-based arts partner of Hartford Public Schools, providing in-school arts instruction and arts integration support. Hartford performs coordinates the services of more than 130 arts providers, which work with teachers to integrate the arts across the curriculum and enrich student learning. Hartford Performs also emphasizes equity and access to help ensure that all Hartford students have standards-based, high-quality arts experiences.
Litchfield Performing Arts
Litchfield Performing Arts educates and inspires young people to be confident, creative, expressive individuals through challenging programs in jazz music and the performing arts and share the passion and magic of the arts with the wider community. Litchfield Jazz Camp serves residential and day students each week for 1 to 5 week sessions.. Dedicated to changing lives through music, Litchfield Jazz Camp awards scholarships to students in financial need to remove income as a barrier to participation.
Fairfield Theater Company
A nonprofit center for the arts located in downtown Fairfield, CT, FTC brings together a community of musicians, actors, artists, writers, fans, and supporters who are dedicated to the idea that the broadest spectrum of live entertainment and cultural exchange is essential to the vitality of our society. FTC facilitates music education for low-income elementary and middle school music students from area schools. In partnership with the nonprofit organization KEYS, FTC provides a nine-month series of music workshops held on Saturdays from January to June.
